As of January 21, 2008 Mr. Keilt is President and CEO of H-1 Auto Care, LLC. Prior to this, Mr. Keilt was CEO of Franchise Venture Associates, LLC and remains as a non-operating Director. Franchise Venture Associates, LLC (FVA) provides consulting, sales, and development assistance to small franchise companies seeking to expand and reach critical mass. On March 4, 2001 Jack and two partners purchased the master development rights to Fantastic Sams for the New England Region. Jack was Managing Director. Over the next two years 42 units were sold and either opened or were under development. On August 5, 2003, Jack and his partners purchased Fantastic Sams national company. Jack served as the President and CEO of Fantastic Sams International and its three operating subsidiaries until founding FVA. Fantastic Sams has over 1,400 salons, system revenues of over $330 million per year, and is the 55th largest franchise company in the world. Jack Keilt has over 33 years in the franchise industry with extensive experience in domestic, international and Master Licensing. As a Corporate Vice President for Ralston Purina, working in the Foodmaker Division he developed the initial franchise program for Jack-In-The-Box. He also held other V.P. level positions with Bojangles (COO position), Dryclean USA, and served as Director of Development for Burger King.
A graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Keilt attended graduate school at CCNY – Bernard Baruch School. Mr. Keilt is currently on the International Franchise Association (IFA), Franchise Relations Committee and has served in the past on the IFA International Affairs Committee. Mr. Keilt served two years as Chairman for the IFA’s Franchise Business Network in Boston, MA ().
Rissy Sutherland - Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Sutherland is Chief Operating Officer for H-1 Auto Care, LLC and has served in this position since April, 2008. Ms. Sutherland has spent her entire career in the automotive industry. She learned and worked in every position inside of her family's shops for over 10 years. She received both her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Human Resources and Training degrees from Clemson University in South Carolina. Ms. Sutherland has extensive automotive franchise operations and training experience having served as Director of Training and Vice President of Operations and Training for Moran Industries, Inc. with responsibilities for over 200 repair facilities.
Chip Baranowski, CFE - VP of Franchise Development
Chip joined H-1 in January of 2011 as their new Vice President of Franchise Development. Chip has over 20 years of experience in the Franchise Industry. During this time he has run a successful franchise consulting business and over seen franchise sales and development departments for several franchise companies. Chip completed the International Franchise Associations CFE program in 2010 and is also a Sandler Sales President Club life time member.
Josh Knoll, Project Manager
Josh comes to Honest-1 Main Office from Arkansas where he earned a degree in Graphic Design and another in Computer Information Systems from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He worked for customer service and tech support for Wal-Mart corporate office, and has administrative and management experience in a variety of fields. He wears many hats for Honest-1 including handling in-house graphic design & marketing, technical support, HR, and administrative duties.
Mike Still, Operations Manager
Mike has had over 25 years in the automotive industry. He has been involved in all aspects of the business from racing trucks in The Baja to owning his own very successful businesses in Colorado. He has spoken at the Sema Show on preventative maintenance and worked with police forces teaching police pursuit tactics. He has even demonstrated tire and driving techniques at the FBI driving school in Virginia. Most recently Mike worked with Ford in their Quick Lane Service Centers on New Dealer Immersion Classes. All of these experiences have led Mike to Honest -1 where he sees the value of Eco-Friendly centers as the new wave of the future.
Liz Koppinger, Accounting
Liz Koppinger handles all aspects of accounting for Honest-1 Auto Care. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the founder of EK Tax and Accounting Solutions, a Phoenix-based CPA firm. Liz has been a trusted advisor to hundreds of Arizona business owners, and she has spent close to a decade advising business owners in all manners of tax and accounting, with her primary focus on tax minimization through strategic planning. She holds a Master's Degree in Taxation and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, both earned at Arizona State University, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Pam Ostrowski, Business Coach
Pam Ostrowski is the Honest-1 Business Coach.She brings to the table almost 30 years of working very closely with business owners (especially small and medium-sized businesses) including several Fortune 100 companies.Her focus is business process improvement.She helps Honest-1 Auto Care franchisees gain enhanced productivity and profitability as well as faster revenues in this ever-changing market.Her expertise specifically targets the key business areas of product development, marketing, operations, sales, and service. Currently serving as CEO of two companies, Pam has provided over 1000 coaching hours to business owners looking for a trusted advisor, sounding board, and fellow business owner.
