I am so grateful to find this Auto repair location. I am a single mother disabled and know nothing about my older Honda. I am low income and I have been over priced and scammed so often and always find out afterwards. I finally found a mechanic shop I can trust! First of all they did an amazing job on my spark plug well tubes that was about a forth of the cost that Honda quoted. They inspected my vehicle and advised of a couple of important repairs that Honda missed on their inspection, they also advised my clutch was in decent working order and another shop told me I needed one. Frustrating to be told by other shops I need one thing and I truly didnt. I was told the order of importance the remaining items that need repaired and Mike and Brandy did an amazing job explaining repairs, showed me a video and described what happens if I delay the repair. I called other shops to get estimate to compare and honest 1 is definitely the most affordable. They match prices too, that's amazing. The mechanics work hard and are very professional and courteous, friendly. The shop is super friendly! Yet extremely professional! Mike is probably the most knowledgeable shop employee I have ever been too, he knows how to explain things so well. He has over 20 years of experience and it truly shows.

I have been working with the guys at Honest-1 Auto since I bought my Tahoe in 2014 from a dealership with a bad catalytic converter. Since then through trial and error they have gone out of their way to get all the parts fixed on my Tahoe that needed fixed. In the process they have eaten the cost on some of the labor and some of the parts they went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I wanted to take the time to thank them and let others know I highly recommend them to do any work. They truly live up to their name.

We felt lucky to have found Honest-1 Auto Care when our car broke down and needed to be towed. AAA recommended Honest-1 and now we will, too! The people were nice, made it so I could understand what they meant (62 year lady), and had a nice area to wait. You may think it is funny, but I appreciated that it didn't smell like cigarette smoke, either. I give it a 10, and my car gives it a 10, also!

I wish I could rate my experience as zero stars, but since one half of a star is the lowest possible rating, I'll settle for it. Initially I called and made an appointment here because of them giving me the lowest estimate and also because of the reviews. I can only imagine now that they clean up online reviews so that only the best are made public because it is so hard to believe that anyone has had a positive experience here. I initially brought my car in to have a part of my rear suspension replaced. I was told on the phone when I made the appointment that it would cost $400 + tax which would amount to approximately $420. I was also told that my car would take about two hours to be finished and that I should be able to pick it up by early afternoon. We dropped it off at 10:00 AM. Hours went by and I got no call. I called at 2 PM and no one picked up. I called at 3 PM and no one picked up. I called again at 4 PM and 4:30 PM and still no one picked up. I finally got through to them at 5 PM, when they were set to close, and they told me my car still wasn't done. 7 hours had gone by, and they hadn't been able to do a fix that I was told should take 2 hours. The owner of the location informed me that they had to take my brake assembly apart in order to do the replacement and that they were hearing an odd noise when they put it back together. They also told me that they had rotated my tires to try to fix the issue, but realized that the tires had been rotated two weeks prior (which they would have known had they contacted me prior to their closing time) so they had to rotate them back. They then charged us $450 and gave me crap about how they're charging far less than they usually would, even though they were the ones who gave the estimate. As I drove away (after hours, so I couldn't take it back) I realized that my alignment was extremely off. My steering wheel turned to the right by approximately forty-five degrees from center, and it pulled to the right so hard that it was difficult to drive. When I drove on snow, my car was unusually impossible to control (fishtailing with no traction going 5 mph in less than an inch of snow.) I had driven this car a week prior in snow and it was fine. The initial appointment was on February 6th. I had to leave to go out of town for a week and was unable to contact them in the meantime. I got back yesterday, so I called this morning at 9 AM. The man who answered the phone didn't give me his name but I didn't recognize his voice as the owner so I'm assuming it was a mechanic. I explained the issue and he completely dismissed the lack of control on snow as it "being the weather" like I'm an idiot who doesn't know that snow is slippery. The issue is that my car is literally impossible to control on the snow which is new since I took my car in. He made me an appointment for 4:00. When I went to drop my car off at 4:00, the owner (who seems to be completely incompetent and lacks manners) I explained the issue and that I had made an appointment for 4:00. He told me he didn't have the time today and that the issue couldn't possibly have been from the work they did, so he would have to charge us for the alignment. I pushed back because this issue is definitely from the day of the initial appointment, and he was extremely rude and irritable. He was also irritated that I pointed out that I had made an appointment that morning. His mechanic took my car and tried to align it, but for some reason is not capable of doing a basic alignment without their *specific alignment guy* so I was told I would have to bring it back the next day. Needless to say, I just dropped my car off at another location to have a competent mechanic do the alignment. The mechanic that is currently looking at it just called me to tell me that the mechanics at Honest-1 on Old Henderson failed to reconnect my sway bar which is why the car was so difficult to drive on snow, which they would have realized had they not completely dismissed me as being an idiot who doesn't know how to drive on snow. I'll be contacting Honest-1 headquarters to try to get a partial refund to pay for the alignment and sway bar connection at the other place, and will absolutely never bring my car here again. If you're a future customer looking to bring your car some place, I highly recommend leaving this facebook page and not even considering Honest-1.

I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday evening with the check engine light blinking. I was told I needed to replace the engine and quoted $6230. I told them that I could do nothing right now do to not having the funds and to hold off. After trying to secure funds over the weekend (unable to) I called the shop Monday morning paid for the diagnostic and told them I would be having AAA coming to pick up the vehicle. I was than called back 2 hours later by Charles and told that they had removed my engine. This was done WITHOUT my permission!! We are now 3 days past me paying my bill and I still do not have my vehicle back!!! I have called/gone there every day to find out when my vehicle will be returned and no one can give me a time and date. This is extremely unacceptable.
